Abstract: In November 2003, Unocal commissioned and start up a gas-metering skid using multi-path ultrasonic technology on Santan Terminal on East Kalimantan. This gas-meter skid measures gas production from first deepwater field in Indonesia, West Seno field, for custody transfers application. The data provided by this UFM is used for East Kalimantan pipeline allocation of gas production back to this field. This paper describes the details of these installations, the subsequent performance of the meters and some operational experiences.
