Abstract: The north east region of the USA has many natural gas wells that are declining in flow due to extensive exploitation and production over many years. These traditional wells are showing reduced flow-rates that may require changing the scope and design criteria of the metering station which usually is designed to the API 14.3 - AGA 3 orifice plate measurement standard designed for pipeline quality gas.
