Abstract: Quality assurance and quality control should be an integral application to any analytical laboratory. Laboratory analysis of natural gas is no exception. With an ever increasing emphasis of leak verification, detection of sulfur compounds, gas interchangeability, therm billing, and detection of hydrocarbons through extended analysis, all data measurements regarding the same must be reliable and accurate. Procedures and practices established to prove this are imperative to achieve excellent quality assurance and quality control.
