Abstract: Outer Continental Shelf Regulations are a relatively new phase of operations to the offshore industry, and especially to gas measurement personnel. Recently, all offshore personnel have been learning to live, understand and administer the new set of rules. These are Federal Regulations established to control, monitor, and protect the individual and the environment. It is each measurement mans responsibility to know and understand these rules, and assist his own company in administering and keeping the required reports. If any doubt arises, an individual should seek proper counsel through his own company channels that handle these problems.
