Abstract: The Chairman of the A.G.A. Operating Section commissioned a special task force in 1982 to review plastic piping performance and to communicate results of the review to the gas industry. A questionnaire was developed to collect information on plastic piping system performance. Statistical data for the questionnaire was based on 1981 leak history as reported annually by utilities to the Federal Department of Transportation. This report provides results of that survey.
