Abstract: This paper discusses a new, portable, simple, relatively inexpensive, accurate, and quick method for calibrating Barton sulfur titrators. The proposed method incorporates a portable, controlled temperature, controllable flowrate, multiple permeation tube calibrator. This paper will discuss the selection, theory, procedure, and maintenance aspects of this calibrator. Additional applications for this calibrator include H2S monitor and sulfur chromatograph calibration.
