Abstract: The turbine meter, because n is capable of accurately measuring large volumes of gas over a wide minimum to maximum flow range, is being used quite extensively. With the supply of natural gas decreasing and the cost rising, the need for establishing a good maintenance and testing program for all types of gas meters becomes increasingly important. The frequency of testing and maintenance of turbine meters will vary depending on company policy, purity of the gas and gas system, and Public Utility Commission regulations.
