It pleases me to hear from top utility executives thai the managers and supervisors of these departments are some of the most qualified operating people in the utility business. You work at your jobs and keep abreast of developments. I like to be with successful people and that is one reason why I like being here. Employee motivation is a difficult subject and yet it is easy to talk about. It seems everyone has an opinion on the subject and is willing to discuss it without prodding.
