Abstract: The American Petroleum Institute (API) and the Gas Processors Association (GPA) have completed development of a new data base of coefficients of discharge for concentric flangedtapped, square-edge orifice meters. This paper describes the effort and method that established a revised flow equation that has the potential to be accepted on an international basis.
