Abstract: The purpose of the paper is to introduce the user to the changes and reasons they were made in the reference standards. It is then left to the attendee to study in detail, these documents which represent the latest information to use to obtain accurate orifice measurement. Requirements have been tightened to allow these improvements. The application of the standard began in the US in 1992 and has been increasing in its use since then.
