Abstract: Always looking for innovative equipments and techniques that will allow to increase its network safety and reduce its operation costs, Gaz Metropolitain with the Natural Gas Technologies Centre realised field trials of two P.D.I.M., a new type of equipment in North America. This paper will present briefly the RD.l.M. itself and the results of the field trials after six months of tests.
