Abstract: In the mid 1960s, the Annubar was patented and put on the market, an a flow measurement device. The original design performed fairly good with liquid flows, but at the high Reynolds numbers associated with gaseous flows the performance was erratic. This paper gives the history of design changes and calibration data on a new shaped Annubar which eliminates its erratic performance.
