Abstract: A primary concern of frequency standards is the stability of the output signal frequency. Numerous methods for determining their stability have been devised. This paper briefly discusses frequency stability and its measurement and describes a simple innovative test system or method which eliminates an undesirable factor known as deadtime in frequency stability analysis.
