Title: Liquid Measurement Station Design
Author: Larry Pitts
Source: 1987 International School of Hydrocarbon Measurement
Year Published: 1987
Abstract: Liquid Measurement Stations consist of many and varied components. Rather than discuss each of these items very briefly, this paper will focus on liquid characteristics and the selection process of turbine meters versus positive displacement meters, sphere provers versus piston provers, and bidirectional provers versus unidirectional provers. It is not the intent of the author to be dogmatic, but rather to offer some possible guidelines that may be helpful in the decision process of selecting measurement equipment.
