Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to provide operators of gas distribution systema with a better understanding of the Hinimuia Federal Safety Standards pertaining to pressure control and to offer a summary of recent interpretations by the Office of Pipeline Safety of some sections of these regulations. As operators of gas distribution systems, you are naturally concerned with the effect these regulations will have on you.
