Abstract: When the gas company is called upon to supply a meter for a particular service there are several things that need to be considered: 1. The maximum load conditions that this service would ever require. 2. The operating pressure under which the gas is to be measured, 3. The minimum flow ever required for the service. 4. The amount of pressure drop that could possibly be allowed for the service.
