Abstract: Baltimore Gas & Electric Company is providing better customer service because of a new automotive and equipment repair facility designed to leep its fleet on the road. Ttie Company serves nearly 850,000 electric customers and provides natural gas to over 500,000 customers in a total service area of approximately 2,300 square miles. While the City of Baltimore is the largest metropolitan area and the geographical center of the system, well over half the total revenues of the Company come from outside the City limits, encompassing nine counties with some 2.5 million residents. Steam is produced for sale to 652 customers located in downtown Baltimore.
