Author: George W. Stubblebine

Year Published: 1979
Abstract: In the early 197Os sustained and increasing cutbacks in the quantity of natural gas being delivered to distributor utilities in the United States led to the planning of facilities to supplement their reduced supplies. The state-of-the- art production methods at that time were catalytic steam reforming processes which used liquid hydrocarbon feedstocks of compositions ranging between propane and naphtha with a 365F (183C) maxiumum boiling point.
