Abstract: The orifice meter is the most widely used flow measurement device for recording gas flow and volume data. Calculation of gas flow Is mainly dependent on the accurate measurement of the pressure drop (or differential pressure) across the orifice plate and Che accurate measurement of the static pressure of the gas line. Another important variable in the calculation of flow is the flowing temperature of the gas.
