Abstract: South Carolina Electric and Gas recently received approval from the South Carolina Public Service Commission to establish a program to test gas meters on a sample basis. This approval was the culmination of several years work in upgrading procedures, records, testing, and handling of the 177,000 gas meters currently on the system.
