Abstract: Since the first inception of a liquid meter, there has been a need for a method of verification of the indication. The indicator, or register, tells the user the quantity of liquid that has flowed through the meter and is operated by either mechanical or electronic means linked within the meter. An example is the quantity register on the gasoline pump at a service station.
