Abstract: lht is High Pressure Regulation? Generally speaking it is the. closing and opening of a valve to maintain a desired pressure at the downstream side of the valve. Actually, the original regulator was just that - A man opening and closing a valve. A high pressure regulator is just a regulator built to withstand thousands or hundreds of pounds of pressure on the inlet side of it.
