Abstract: Space age technology has produced a remarkable amount of beneficial fallout. In the field of bellows-type orifice meters, the last five years has shown significant use of new technology in bellows materials, welding processes, and in other component parts associated with contemporary bellows meters. Instrument engineers have worked with metallic bellows, searching for an ideal mechanism for the measurement of differential pressure for well over 100 years.
