Abstract: The operation and maintenance of gas regulators is very important to the gas company, and its customers. The responsibility for the safe utilization of gas regulators lies not only with the manufacturer but also the gas industry. The manufacturer must provide sufficient information for the proper selection, operation and maintenance of the regulator. Gas company personnel have the responsibility to select, install and maintain the regulators properly, using guidelines provided by the manufacturer .
