Abstract: The well test data produced from old production wells through old Test Separators associated with pneumatic instrumentation was very challenging and difficult. As the well behaviour changes towards the end of the production phase with significant variations of Gas Void Fraction (GVF) and high variations in the water cuts, the old well test measurement limits the functionality thereby resulting in a higher degree of uncertainty /accuracy for reservoir management and production estimates. The well test is a health check for the well producing and for the reservoir good well test equipment will ensure reliable well test data. Accurate, timely and reliable well production data are very important for :- Operation control Reservoir management Production allocation Field development & optimization
