Abstract: This class will consist of a presentation about pressure regulation including the types of pressure regulators (PRV and BPV), a brief overview of self-operated regulators, but will mainly be focusing on pilot operated regulators. For the pilot operated regulators, we will discuss the principles of operation, the components of a typical pilot operated regulator, the different types of regulators (unloading and loading style), and the advantages of using pilot operated under certain conditions.
