Abstract: In a 2300 square mile area of Central Maryland, BGE supplies electricity and other services to more than one million customers. Ten generating plants that Include two nuclear units are owned and operated by the company. The company has over 6200 megawatts of total generating capacity. Gas service is provided in an approximate 600 square mile area in Central Maryland to over 555,000 customers. Nine gate stations and two gas plants supply storage, distribution and commercial transmission through and around Baltimore. Our Energy Projects and Services, Inc. provide commercial and industrial customers a wide range of customized energy services. In the business line of power services, electrical system enhancements, mechanical engineering, lighting and installation, disthbution energy systems, and provide electric and gas distribution systems.
