Abstract: It might seem strange that a paper on controls should be presented at a Measurement Short Course, however measurement and control certainly go hand in hand. Accurate measurement could not be accomplished in many instances without adequate control of pressure. The pressure of the gas is controlled from the time it leaves the well until it is delivered to the consumer.
