Abstract: Over the last decade, pneumatic pipe bursting has emerged as one of the most preferred environmental sensitive, trenchless pipeline and service line replacement methods. The success rate of pneumatic pipe bursting in challenging situations has also increased dramatically over the past few years. Much has been learned about the capabilities of the method as well as what is needed for the method to succeed under a wide range of conditions in the gas industry.
