Abstract: The bellows-type d i f f e r e n t i a l gauge has found widespread application and increasing popul a r i t y in o r i f i c e metering. Its operation does not require mercury nor c r i t i c a l leveling for operation. The rapid response and high output torque make the bellows meter p a r t i c u l a r l y adaptable to integrating and c o n t r o l l i n g devices. The meter is generally not affected by condensed l i q u i d in the measuring system. The s e l f - d r a i n ing feature along with proper i n s t a l l a t i o n makes it very adaptable to wet gas measurement.
