Abstract: Bulk storage facilities, often referred to as distribut ion terminals, must load and unload liquid product between storage tanks, railcars, tank trucks, and barges. The transfer of petroleum products has become a conern in areas such as safety, security, measurement accuracy, and regulatory requirements. Due to the advancement of electronic systems, improvements have been made in thes e areas. This report will focus on useful preset features and the types of blending that are available using an electronic preset . Blending configurations that will be covered include the sequential blender, the ratio blende r, the side stream blender, and the hybrid blender
