MEASUREMENT ASSURANCE COMBINES METROLOGY WITH QUALITY CONTROL, ESPECIALLY STATISTICAL PROCESS CONTROLS AND THE CHARACTERISTIC FEEDBACK LOOP. MEASUREMENT UNCERTAINTIES MAY BE CONSIDERED AS INDICATORS OF THE QUALITY OF MEASUREMENTS.
