Abstract: The primary function of any Gas Measurement Department is accurate measurement and dependable pressure regulation. These words are found on the job description of every measurement man and usually are the primary objectives of written departmental goals. In order to achieve these goals, the first step is of necessity, the station design. This is the cash register of the company and is worthy of the time required to help insure that the primary goals are attainable. With this in mind, lets look at what is needed to develop a sound design framework.
