Title: Coriolis and ultrasonic flow meters in phase-contaminated oil flows

Abstract: Oil and gas operators today are facing several significant measurement challenges in their efforts to optimize production and generate more from their reservoirs. One main challenge is how to deal with the measurement of multiphase flows. The application of multiphase flow meters (MPFMs) has increased significantly over the last decades to overcome this challenge. These MPFMs have in principle the capability of covering the entire multiphase flow regime, but may not be the best choice when considering costs and accuracy in specific regions of the multiphase flow domain.
