Abstract: The Gas Research Institute (GRI) is investigating ways to develop materials, components, piping systems, and installation techniques that will enable those involved in the construction of homes, apartments, condominiums, and commercial buildings to install safe and cost effective interior gas piping systems throughout new or existing residential/ commercial structures at a cost competitive with other energy systems. This paper details the results of GRIs multifamily field test (MFFT) of copper and corrugated stainless steel tubing (CSST) interior piping systems.
