Abstract: Most of us have arrived at this meeting in some kind of company provided transportation. This is supplied in order for us to do our assigned jobs. These may be trucks, cars, helicopters or even boats. For those who are involved in the offshore industry we know that transportation involves the greatest expense. The helicopter expense for our company is close to the 9 million dollar range, Since this cost is so high, we are constantly looking at ways to reduce it. The helicopters we use cost us 510.00 per flying hour plus 28,000.00 a month for leasing.
