Abstract: The American Gas Association Report No. 3 on Orifice Metering and The American Gas Association Gas Measurement Manual, along with the many publications from this Short Course, have constituted rules and practices to standardize orifice measurement. It will be the purpose of this paper to present the methods and techniques of examining and maintaining the orifice meter as it relates to the standard commercial gas measuring station.
