Title: Alternating Current Problems Of Pipelines
Author: C. A. Royce
Source: American Gas Association 1970
Year Published: 1970
Abstract: The presence of high voltage electric lines in close proximity to gas pipelines produces induced a-c voltages on the pipelines. Practical means for predicting the a-c induction and solutions to minimize these voltages are available. The results of an a-c voltage protection system constructed by Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation for a pipeline are discussed.
