Abstract: All of these production meters will need field design calibration planning data points selected, piping treatments provided, field mating site piping planning to avoid installation effects. Before they leave for calibrations, You should spec out: Calibration points maximized for real service ranges (several of the 7-10 typ. flow pts. in the normal range). Pipe end treatments specified to be in place at calibration ( and arrive pre-installed where its rational to do so). Specify which tube sections/intersections can/cannot be unbolted for transport after calibration. Specify that any intersections must have the gasket centered without intrusion on re-bolt-up.
