Abstract: The actual calculation of the meter chart record is more or less mechanical. The various gas purchase and sales contracts contain information as to the basis of measurement. Published tables or especially prepared office tables are used in determining the various measurement factors specified by contract. These factors are used in calculating the volumes pa.ssing through the various measuring stations. They remain in use until such time as changes develop which affect them. When charts are received in the office from the various measuring stations, the volumes indicated by the chart records are calculated, using accepted and routine methods.
