Abstract: The main objectives of this presentation are to: - Try and make Engineers aware of the pitfalls of Linearisation(Data Fitting) meters. - To show that Reynolds number is an important issue. - To look at the methods of Linearising and the problems - To show the real calibration requirements of meters - To show a good quality calibration facility that fulfils many of the requirements for good calibration. - Briefly discuss the pitfalls of extrapolation to high Reynolds numbers.
