Abstract: Analog gas flow computing has been available to the industry for a number of years. With the gas distribution companies, for example, the continuous up-to-the-minute flow information, provided by a gas flow computer system, enables them to stay within demand contract. Transmission companies have found the computer offers a way to keep their pipelines operating at maximum efficiency, thus assuring their customers of an adequate gas supply.
