FACTORS AFFECTING CALIBRATION OF THERMOCOUPLES ON REVERSIBLE CHANGES SUCH AS COLD WORK. AGING AND IRREVERSIBLE CHANGES SUCH AS PREFERENTIAL OXIDATION AND CONTiMlNATlON ARE DESCRIBED. CALIBRATION ERRORS INTRODUCED BY CIRCUITRY PROBLEMS ARE ANALYZED.
