Title: Optimizing Sampling Frequency Using Trends In Oil Density And Sulphur Content Analysisis

Abstract: Data trends in laboratory density and sulfur content are investigated to determine an optimal frequency for sampling updates after initial densities are applied to each trucked-in emulsion load. The accuracy of oil and water volumes determined at treating facilities depends on current oil and water densities in Net Oil Calculations. Sulfur content is important for crude marketing.
