Abstract: The revision of Specification and Installation Requirements Part 2 of the Orifice Meter Standard was promised when the first edition was published in 1991. Research was planned or in progress at the time of publication. The Gas Research Institute, the Mineral Management Service and the American Petroleum Institute provided funding. Researchers from Europe and North America contributed significantly to the development of this landmark document.
