Abstract: Unacceptable battery proration factors can be improved as people who work with the raw production volumes take ownership to mitigate contributing factors. Communication between production accountants, field operations people and engineers helps to identify off-trend monthly proration factors and improve data entries. Ten tried-and true methods are recommended to test wells and validate results before reporting into the Petrinex or other agency.
