Title: Orifice Fittings And Meter Tubes

Abstract: Mention Primary Element to anyone familiar with orifice measurement and he will immediately think of an orifice plate. While the orifice plate is one of the most important single items in the Orifice Meter, research, calculations, and actual flow tests have shown that referring to the orifice plate exclusively as the Primary Element is not entirely correct. The Primary Element is in fact a precision combination of three equally important components, which should be manufactured, purchased and inspected to the same rigid requirements of an orifice plate alone.
