Abstract: Gas ureeze-ups are a problem that plague the gas industry all the way from the production fields, through the transmission system, in to the distribution system and on through the individual customers meter. Improper treatment of this problem can potentially cause major interruption to large numbers of customers due to ice blockage or possible overpressuring of distribution systems due to freeze-ups in pressure reducing facilities-
