Abstract: KeySpan Energy is the owner and operator of a high-pressure gas transmission main from the Long Beach Gate Station (where ownership of the gas passes from Williams Transco Pipeline to KeySpan Energy) to the Stewart Avenue Gate Station. The pipeline is a 30 X52 steel main that was installed in the early 1960s. The main was pigged for about 10 of 12 miles and Direct Assessment was done on both the remaining 2 miles and all of the anomalies shown by the high resolution MFL pig.
