Abstract: Production of SNG from liquid hydrocarbons is discussed in terms of feedstock properties, product gas characteristics and gasification processes. Technical and commercial guidelines are suggested for building economical SNG plants efficiently, including preliminary evaluation, design, engineering, construction, and start-up.
